About Belle Gardens

Established in 1993 in South West London, Belle Gardens is now based in East Sussex designing, building and maintaining gardens in Wadhurst, Ticehurst, Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding area.

The Director, Bella Ryan, is Merrist Wood College trained and qualified in Horticulture to Distinction level.

The Principal designers are Denise Cadwallader and SImon Payne. Denise is an Honours graduate in Garden Design from Middlesex University and a design exhibitor at the Chelsea Flower Show. Simon trained at the Inchbald School of Garden Design and has worked with John Brooks and Anthony Paul. He has been designing gardens since 1988.

The Way We Work

We can offer a full service from design to execution.

Initially we will arrange a consultation. During this consultation we can suggest ways to improve and enhance your garden by using different materials and planting or by changing the basic layout.

Estimates for small jobs are free but for an hour or more consultation there is a charge of £45 + VAT within a ten mile radius from Stonegate/Wadhurst.

If you require a drawing then you will be told in detail what you will receive, the planting plans and the hard landscaping details. You will then be sent a follow up letter indicating the cost of the design.

Should you engage us to execute the work you will then be given a costing which will be divided up into the various areas e.g paved areas and planting work will be kept separate in case you wish to approach your garden in stages.
